New Delhi Looting Our Natural Resources: Geelani
Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Syed Ali Geelani Thursday alleged that Government of India was looting natural resources of the State and “carrying out culture aggression.”
Talking to delegations from various parts of Kashmir, Geelani said Tehreek-e-Hurriyat came into existence to “liberate Jammu Kashmir from the control of New Delhi and fight against the cultural aggression launched by it.” “In this struggle we will certainly face many trials and tribulations, atrocities and persecutions. But we need to endure all these with patience, forbearance and steadfastness. For, our goal is freedom from slavery,” he said.
Geelani alleged that government of India and its agencies were “fostering mutual enmity” among the Muslims of state by “sowing the seeds of discord and hatred in the name of Maslaks and political differences.”
