Transport Deptt Issues Advisory For Vehicular Movement
The Sonamarg- Drass road (Zojila Pass) has been thrown open for vehicular movement, an official spokesman said.
According to a notification issued by the Transport Department, the movement of vehicular traffic on the road was allowed from April 15. “The traffic would be regulated downward from Kargil to Drass at 4 am, from Drass to Gumri at 6 am and from Gumri to Sonamarg at 10 am. Likewise, the upward convey would move from Sonamarg towards Drass and Kargil at 3 pm onwards,” the spokesman said.
