Jammu records hottest ever June 1st week
Wednesday was the hottest day of the season in the winter capital here as mercury climbed to 42 degrees Celsius, the highest ever temperature recorded in history in the first week of June.
According to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) officials the maximum temperature of Jammu rose to record 42.3 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. The minimum temperature of the day was 24.0 degree Celsius with humidity of over 16 percent.
