HC notice to private schools on charging September fee

In a separate plea, Advocate G A Lone Tuesday told the High Court that the government is unclear on whether exams in schools would be conducted in November 2014 or March 2015 and that private schools are charging the students fee for the months of September and October, including the bus fare.
The court directed the Registry to issue notice to schools including Delhi Public School ( DPS), Mallinson, Tyndale Biscoe, Presentation Convent and others to appear before it on next date of hearing to explain the reasons for charging the fee for September and October. Lone was asked to furnish details of the schools to Registry. With regard to the issue of examination, Additional Advocate General S A Naik told the court that the government has already taken decision to conduct the exams in March. Naik was asked to place a copy of the government on record.
Meanwhile, the court issued notice to the government to file objections to an application by Advocate S Thakur seeking conduct of the examinations in November.
