Restrictions in City parts, traffic mess elsewhere

From Parim Pora in west City to Hyder Pora in south –commuters had a tough time –stranded in jams for hours as most of the roads connecting to the civil lines remained under siege.
At Parim Pora hundreds of vehicles were seen stranded on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway while similar was the scene in old City localities.
Those who were heading for treatment to hospitals had a tough time. “For three hours, I am unable to find a way to reach SKIMS Soura,” said a Solina man.
Official sources said restrictions coupled with unannounced diversions remained a main cause of chaos on the City roads even as relief and rehabilitation work in this flood hit City remained equally affected.
For the past around a week the administration has allegedly failed in the smooth regulation of traffic.
