Tour operators appeal Comm Secy Tourism
The Valley-based flood affected tour and travel agents have appealed the Commissioner Secretary Tourism, Shailendra Kumar to direct the tourism department to defer inspections for sometime.
A group of tour and travel operators said that tourism department is conducting inspections and alleged that the officials are harassing them for the documents which were washed off in the recent floods.
“Keeping in view the prevailing situation, the department should give us some time to settle in before imposing inspections and other verifications on us,” they said.
The tour operators appealed the Commissioner Secretary Tourism to intervene.
