Administration Issues Weather Advisory

District administration Udhampur has issued weather advisory  for  general public as well as for the  Shri Amarnath Yatris , informing that the weather is likely to deteriorate on July 25 and July 26,  2015.

Administration has advised the people not to venture in Landslide/avalanche-prone areas and not to go near rivers /nallahs during the period to avoid any untoward incident due to heavy rains in some parts of the district.

People are also advised to take all necessary precautions and avoid unnecessary travelling during this period.

All the concerned departments related to Disaster management have been asked  to remain alert during the period and to activate their men and machinery and to ensure that there is no disruption of Shri Amarnathji Yatra, essential services, power supply, water supply, health care services                               etc.
