Over 50 persons were injured on Wednesday in clashes with the government forces in Kaimoh and Aishmuqam areas of south Kashmir districts of Kulgam and Anantnag respectively.
Reports and witnesses said that over 40 persons were injured in clashes that erupted after forces vandalized the venue of a proposed pro-freedom rally in Karshangam village of Aishmuqam.
The injured have been shifted to SDH Seer and Muqam for treatment.
In a similar incident, over a dozen people were injured during clashes in Khudwani village of Qaimoh in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, reports said.
They said that two people have suffered pellet injuries in eyes and head.

A 14 year old girl was injured after government forces resorted to massive tear smoke shelling to disperse protesting youth in Kaloosa are of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday.
Injured girl identified as Nazia Rashid of Kaloosa was rushed to Bandipora hospital were her condition was stated to be stable.
Earlier, scores of youth protesting against what locals say highhandedness of forces which led into clashes. Meanwhile locals in Kaloosa and Bandipora accused government forces of provoking people to protests.

Over a dozen people were injured after government forces fired pellets and burst teargas shells in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Witnesses and reports said that around 15 persons were injured in clashes in Murran area of the district.
They said that three persons have been hit by pellets in their eyes.Dozens of people were injured after the government forces foiled pro-freedom rallies at several places in south Kashmir districts on Wednesday.
Witnesses said that forces foiled a pro-freedom rally in Katrasoo village of Kulgam by vandalizing its venue, firing pellets and bursting teargas shells.
Dozens of people were injured in the ensuing clashes, said a eyewitness.
Clashes erupted in Karsgangam village in Ashmuqam area of Islamabad (Anantnag) district after forces foiled a pro-freedom rally.
In Arihama village of Shopian district, four people were injured in clashes between youths and forces.

Massive protests have erupted in SK Colony and Anchidora areas of Islamabad (Anantnag) district in south Kashmir against the arrests of two elderly men and alleged high-handedness of the government forces on Wednesday.
The residents from the areas told Kashmir Post that forces ransacked household goods, smashed windowpanes and picked up two elderly men from SK Colony and Anchidora areas.
Raids were also reported from nearby Dabruna village where an elderly man, Farooq Ahmad Dar, was picked up after the forces raided his house in the pursuit of his son.
Another elderly man was picked up from his residence in Anchidora area, said a local.
Police was not immediately available for comments.
