7 Dead, 9 Injured after BEACON vehicle plunges into gorge in Bandipora

At least seven persons died after a Beacon vehicle carrying labourers met with an accident in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday.
Five bodies were recovered from the site of the accident in Tragbal late last night.
The vehicle was on its way to Bandipora from Gurez when the accident took place.
A police official said that 17-18 persons were travelling on the ill-fated vehicle.
He said seven persons have died while nine others have suffered injuries, adding that all the injured have been shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for treatment. The driver of the vehicle, also feared dead, is still missing, he said.
The deceased have been identified as Madhu Harman, Jasu Harman, Sibu Muran, Pagan Muran, Chanu Harman(matt), Kisum Marmo s/o Prabhat Marmo- all residents of Jharkhand – and Manzoor Ahmad Palal (35), son of Mohd. Rafiq Khan, resident of Tanghat Bandipora.
