India crushing Kashmir economy to break people’s resolve: Salahuddin

Stating the ongoing Kashmir Movement in Valley is indigenous, United Jihad Council (UJC) Tuesday said, “Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s address to UN is testimony to this fact that India is suffering from frustration and in the garb of falsehood it wants to mislead world community about the prevailing situation of Kashmir.”
“India blames Pakistan for Kashmir imbroglio. Is anyone who has been killed or blinded in Valley from Pakistan? India will get nothing by spreading lies and concocted tales. It depicts frustration on part of India that it is still blaming Pakistan given the fact that Kashmir Movement is truly indigenous in nature where locals are up in the arms against the atrocious rule,” a statement issued by UJC quoting Syed Salahuddin while addressing a high level meeting said.
Statement added Syed Salahuddin said that India wants to get rid of United Nations resolutions vis-à-vis Kashmir but little did it know that “unattended Kashmir issue has potential to engulf whole subcontinent into flames.”
Statement quoting Salahuddin said Kashmir resolution is in the interest of India.
“India wants to push Kashmiri people to wall and is crushing their economy. It thinks such tactics will break the resolve of people of Kashmir. India should bear it in mind that Kashmiri people loath and abhor oppression and want to put an end to its rule,” statement quoting Salahuddin said.
As per the statement UJC Chief termed the statement about isolating Pakistan “childish”.
“Pakistan is a party to Kashmir dispute that supports people of Kashmir on every front. The fact is that Pakistan is emerging stronger with every passing day while India is getting isolated that is a source of frustration for it,” statement quoting Salahuddin said.
Statement said Salahuddin appealed international community “to take note of serious human rights violations in Kashmir where India is caging people and is using pellets and bullets to inflict miseries upon the people”. (CNS)
