3 local militants killed in Pahalgam Gunfight
Encounter between militants and the forces which started Sunday afternoom in Awoora village of Pahalgam area in northern part of Kashmir ended Monday morning as all the three militants involved in the gunfight were killed.
Police said that bodies of the slain militants have been retrieved and they have been identified as Adil Ahmad Reshi of Bijbehara, Abid Ahmad Sheikh of Satkipora and Masood Ahmad Shah of Bewoora.
The three were affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen, police sources said.
