Around 0.78 votes were polled at 38 polling booths until 10 am in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday where re-poll is being held amid tight security.
Sources said that 277 votes were polled at these stations out of a total 35179 votes.

Zero percent voter turnout in Haripora
There is zero percent voter turnout at Haripora, Budgam polling station as no vote has been polled till 10.30am.
Our correspondent Javid Ahmad and Yawar Hussain said the polling booth wore deserted look and no vote was polled till 10:30 am.
Pertinently, paramilitary and police have been deployed in huge number to tackle any untoward incident in Budgam district.

Polling agents ‘missing’ from polling booths in Budgam
Polling agents of different political parties are conspicuously ‘missing’ at 38 polling booths in Budgam district.
Our correspondent in Budgam reports that the polling agents are nowhere to be seen.
Meanwhile, unprecedented security arrangements have been made since morning to ensure “peaceful” polling.
The re-polling began at 7 am today and will conclude at 5 pm.

Curfew like restrictions in Budgam
Authorities have imposed curfew like restrictions in and around 38 polling stations which are going for re-polling in district Budgam today.
Our correspondent in reports that tight security arrangements have been made since early morning.
Re-polling at 38 polling booths for Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency of Kashmir began today at 7 am and will conclude at 5 pm.

Broadband Internet services snapped again across Kashmir
Authorities on Thursday morning snapped Broadband Internet services in Kashmir as 38 polling station are going for re-polling today.
The services were suspended at 10:30 am today without any prior notice for snapping the services.
Broadband services remain the only facility available after suspension of mobile internet services in Kashmir which has around 15,000 broadband subscribers.
