Mystery shrouds death of two Rajouri youth in Shopian
Police recovered bodies of two youth from the orchards of Palpora Narwaw area of the south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday.
The duo were identified as Suhail son of Asif Iqbal,17, and Muhammad Ather son of Abdul Razaq, 20. Both are from Rajouri district of Jammu region. The bodies were handed over to police after which the identity was ascertained.
“Two bodies found near Palpora Shopian. No injury mark on bodies. Both identified. Police takes cognizance. Syringes,spoon, powder recovered,” read a tweet of state police.
A police official said they have done the autopsy of the bodies and also informed Rajouri police who have contacted the kins of the youth.
“The cause of their death is being ascertained as the further investigations are on”, he said.
