Center creating Ikhwan-type organisations in Kashmir: UJC chief Syed Salahuddin

The United Jihad Council, an amalgam of various militant outfits, alleged on Tuesday that New Delhi is working on a plan to “create Ikhwan-type organisations” in Kashmir.
Quoting a statement by UJC chief Syed Salahuddin, a local news agency CNS said: “New Delhi is fighting a losing battle in Kashmir and has always dreamt of crushing the Kashmir movement but has failed miserably. In future too, it will only taste defeat.”
“There is a clear reading on the wall. Kashmir freedom struggle can’t be crushed and the sun of freedom will one day surely rise. Many politicians and Indian chiefs came and left, but the movement is going on without any hiccups,” Salahuddin said.
He paid rich tributes to militants killed by government forces in Tral, Zakura, Hajin and Handwara areas of Kashmir in the past one week.
“The sacred blood of these militants will show its colour and people of Kashmir will certainly see the light at the end of the tunnel,” he said. “Sooner India understands this, better it is for her.”
The UJC chief appealed to youth wishing to join militant ranks to “choose only those organisations which are confronting India for the past 24 years.” He reiterated that that Kashmir struggle is indigenous and has “no international agenda.”
