Parents protest against private schools alleging being ‘Fleeced’
Parents Association, Jammu, today held a protest demonstration against private schools for alleged fleecing by specifying shops for books and uniforms.
Amit Kapoor, president of Parents Association, Jammu, said that the administration must take action against the schools who are looting parents in the name of books and uniforms. He said that these private schools were putting financial burden on the parents as they specify shops and vendors for books and uniforms.
The administration had recently — in a circular — warned private schools not to fleece parents in form of over-charging of fee and specifying book and uniform shops.
