NIA Summons Moulana Qasmi for Inquiry into alleged ‘Funding Activities’ of Al Huda Education Trust
The NIA has summoned prominent religious cleric and Rector of famous Islamic seminary Darul Aloom Reheemiya, Moulana Rehmatullah Qasmi, asking him to present himself at its camp office in Srinagar on Wednesday.
Moulana Qasmi has been summoned in a case related to alleged “funding activities” of Al Huda Education Trust (AHET) in Rajouri.
In October last year, the central agency had raided the house of Moulana Qasmi at Bandipora, a week after he held a press conference against the government order “forcing students to sing all-faith prayer Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” in schools.
Qasmi had termed it “unacceptable”
