‘We’re ready to sit in opposition if they form govt’
While the National Conference (NC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are engaged in verbal fight over government formation in the State, the rightwing BJP Wednesday called the two parties ‘historic enemies’.
“Historic enemies cannot form the government,” BJP’s General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, told while referring to NC and PDP.
He said the parties, who are rivals, are always accusing and mocking each other. “The alliance between the two parties is far-off question. One day they accuse each other of creating drama and other day one of the party extends support to another in government formation,” Koul said.
He said BJP is ready to sit in opposition if NC and PDP succeed to align and form government in the State.
“We have no issues if NC and PDP align with each other. It is their headache to settle down first, solve their rift and then think over government formation,” Koul said.
The rightwing party has already asserted that forming government in the State without participation of BJP would be “unfair” and “injustice” with people of the Jammu.
