Muslim community in Kishtwar and Bhaderwah have given a bandh call for Friday to protest against burning of flag bearing Qur’anic verses by the right wing Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists in Rajouri recently.
Anjuman-e-Islamia in Bhaderwah and Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar Farooq Ahmed Kichloo have called for bandh to express resentment against the disrespect to the religion by activists of Hindu organizations in Rajouri.The Muslim community has been asked to hold peaceful protest demonstrations after Friday prayers.
