Authorities on Friday seized 20 auto-rickshaws for plying without meters in Shaher-e-Khaas here.
Officials said a team led by ARTO Board of Inspections seized the auto-rickshaws from various areas of Shaher-e-Khaas.
“We will not allow any auto-rickshaw to ply without calibrated meters and documents. If passengers are over-charged by auto-rickshaw drivers, they can approach us with their registration number for action,” said RTO Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad Rather.
