According to an official statement, the Tourism Department collaborated closely with the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation to curate this visit by international beauty luminaries.
This prestigious visit is anticipated to further propel MICE tourism in J&K, which has already witnessed encouraging growth following the successful hosting of the 3rd Working Group meeting of G20 countries earlier this year in May.
The successful G20 event has proved transformative for the local tourism landscape, substantially increasing the influx of foreign tourists to the region. The heightened interest generated by the event has prompted various national and international corporate entities to plan their events in J&K, attracting notable dignitaries to the area.

This visit by renowned global beauty queens to Kashmir is poised to captivate the global tourism market’s attention, showcasing J&K’s offerings in terms of natural beauty, corporate event venues, wedding tourism, local crafts, and cuisine. Simultaneously, it positions J&K as a sought-after destination for hosting significant global and corporate gatherings.
This development is expected to usher in a new era of growth for local tourism, crafts, and the economy, facilitated by the focused vision and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The transformative changes in J&K’s tourism sector can be attributed to his hands-on approach. Home Minister Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha have played crucial roles in continually evaluating and guiding this positive transformation within the department, culminating in these promising outcomes.
