Shiv Sena (UBT) on Monday attacked the Central government and said that despite the reorganisation of erstwhile J&K state into two union territories, violation of rights of local people and loot of resources continues.
Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit president Manish Sahni was campaigning for party candidate Meenakshi Chibber in Jammu West constituency.
Sahni blamed the BJP for the present situation in J&K and said, “Besides affecting our cultural identity, the rights of local people are being continuously violated. The involvement of outsiders in our jobs, business, government tenders is increasing day by day. On the other hand, despite being rich in immense water resources and power projects, the public is troubled by power cuts, smart meters, irregularities in bills, and an increase in power rates.”
