Kashmir Power Shutdown August 31, 2025 – Confirmed Areas & Timings (KPDCL Notice)

The Jammu & Kashmir Power Transmission Corporation Limited (JKPTCL) and Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) have confirmed power shutdowns across several districts of Kashmir on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
The outages are necessary to carry out installation of 36 KV and 145 KV CTs at an 80 MVA Power Transformer and to facilitate shutdown of the 33 KV GIS (Nowshera) BAMK line.
From 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Reason: Installation of 36 KV and 145 KV CTs at the 80 MVA Power Transformer
