Kulgam youth succumbs, taking death toll to 9

A youth identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Mir S/O Ghulam Mohiudin of Zangalpora area of Kulgam district has succumbed to his injures at SKIMS Hosptial, Srinagar on Wednesday morning.

Muzaffar was injured in clashes with forces in Barsoo area of Ganderbal on April 9, the day of by-polls.

With Muzaffar’s death, the death toll of April 9 has reached to nine.

Eight civilians were shot dead and over 150 were injured by the forces on April 9 in Kashmir valley.
