Srinagar-Jammu national highway to remain shut for traffic
The strategic Srinagar-Jammu national highway, which has been blocked due to heavy snowfall and landslides, will remain shut for vehicular traffic for the third consecutive day on Wednesday.
Although work is on to clear the landslide, the snow and rains have caused major difficulties for the people and commuters in the city. Water logging is also adding to the woes of the residents.
As per reports, the air and rail traffic was resumed yesterday after some improvement in the weather.
More snow and rains have been predicted by the Meteorological Department in the coming days.
