Spurious drugs, pesticides serious issues: Geelani
‘State admin hand in glove with suppliers’
“State government is equally responsible for this crime and some of their ministers are having partnership in this filthy trade,” the Hurriyat spokesman Ayaz Akbar, in a statement today, quoted Geelani as having said.
Talking to a delegation of All Kashmir Chemists and Distribution Federation, Syed Ali Geelani, as per spokesman, said “some greedy doctors are also involved in this filthy trade. They are getting illegal and unjust incentives from the companies for prescribing these substandard medicines.”
“These pesticides instead of benefit cause severe harm to the fruit production. The policy makers of India are working on a comprehensive plan to destroy the Kashmiri nation on health, economical and moral levels for demanding freedom. They want Kashmiris to beg for even a drop of water,” The statement quoted Geelani as having said.
