Katrina in Valley to shoot for Fitoor

Prominent Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif of Kashmiri descent will be shooting for the film ‘Fitoor’ today at Nishat Garden and on the banks of Dal Lake Srinagar.
The crew is back in the valley to complete the shoot which was left incomplete in November last year because of the harsh winter.
The latest film to be shot in Kashmir ‘Fitoor’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor of Kai Poi Che and Rock-On fame. Inspired by Charles Dickson’s ‘The Great Expectations’, Fitoor in a multi-starrer with Aditya Roy Kapur of Aashiqui 2 fame, famous Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and evergreen Rekha in lead roles. Rahul Bhatt of Kashmiri origin film will be also seen in the movie.
According to a crew member, wishing not be named said: “The shooting of most part of the film has been completed in the valley and now we have come here to shoot the last sequence of the film. The film was shot in locales like Pahalgam and in and around the Kashmir’s famous Dal Lake ,”  he said.
He further said: “There is 3-4 days of shooting schedule in the city and then we will move to Pahalgam for the further shoot.  In November we also last year we also shot with the actress Aditya Rao Hayder in the Pahalgam,”
Fitoor revolves around 13-year old Noor who’s a Shikara rover living around Dal Lake. “Noor is lured into the world of the Begum- a wealthy woman played by Rekha who stays in her dilapidated Kashmiri mansion in the valley. Noor falls in love with her adopted daughter Firdaus- a gorgeous child who is being raised to break hearts,” he said.
Actor Rahul Bhatt will be also seen shooting with the Katrina Kaif on the banks of Dal Lake.
