Govt. announces flood alert in KashmirAccording to a statement issued by the Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Kashmir, the water level at Sangam and Ram Munshi Bagh is about to touch 21 feet and 18 feet respectively which being the flood declaration levels fixed by the department at these gauge sites.
It is as such requested that the habitation residing along the River/Nallah embankments and low lying areas to remain alert.
