Mufti govt proving worst than its predecessor: Salahuddin

Mufti govt proving worst than its predecessor - SalahuddinCastigating Mufti Sayeed led government in Jammu and Kashmir for resorting to “repressive means” to suppress sentiments in Kashmir; United Jihad Council chief Syed Salahuddin Friday said that people who expect something positive from Mufti led government were living in a fool’s paradise.
“This government has miserably failed to withstand the pressure of Narendra Modi Government over the release of Masrat Aalam. “Mufti government is proving worst than the previous government. Hurriyat leadership must join hands to fight against the sinister designs of occupational forces of India,” Salahuddin has said as per a Srinagar based news agency.
In a statement to news agency, spokesperson United Jihad Council Syed Sadaqat Hussain said that Hizb chief while addressing a high level meeting stated that Narendra Modi led government has decided to use Mufti Muhammad Sayeed to materialize their plans in Kashmir.
“India has planned to settle Pandits in separate townships on Israeli pattern, to butcher Muslims in Kashmir on Gujarat pattern and to provide state-subject rights to the West Pakistan Hindu refugees in Jammu and Kashmir. To implement these sinister plans, Modi led government has already decided to utilize the services of Mufti Sayeed,” he said.
Spokesperson said Syed Salahuddin appealed Hurriyat leadership to join hands to face these “challenges” collectively.
“In fact these Hurriyat leaders can run their organization as they do it at present but for sake of struggle and in the interest of people, these leaders ought to adopt a single strategy,” statement quoting Salahuddin said, adding that the unity shown by Geelani, Mirwaiz and Yaseen Malik at Narbal is a good news for people of Kashmir.
Spokesman said that Syed Salahuddin condemned the detention and shifting of Masrat Aalam outside Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Qasim, Ameer Muslim Deeni Mahaz through his spokesperson today said Mufti Sayeed has left behind Shaikh Abdullah and Ghulam Muhammad Sadiq for being the ‘advocate of Indian cause in Kashmir’.
“From 1947 to 1953 Shaikh Abdullah Government used to put People in jail for listening to radio Pakistan. While as in the Government of Ghulam Muhammad sadiq people were jailed for pasting pro-Pakistan posters and now Mufti is jailing people for raising pro Pakistan slogans,” spokesperson quoting Qasim said.
