Dulat conspiring to divide Kashmiris: Engr Rasheed

Awami Ittihad Party President and member of the so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed has said that former RAW chief AS Dulat is conspiring to divide the Kashmiris through lies.

While commenting on AS Dulat’s recent interview, Rasheed in a statement in Srinagar said, “It is a ploy to make Kashmiris quarrel and create bad vibes against each another,” he referred to his assertions against the Kashmiri leadership.

The MLA cautioned Kashmiris about the conspiracies being hatched behind the curtains. “The so-called disclosures made by Dulat are meant to suggest that every Kashmir secretly wants personnel benefits. Dulat tries to give impression that irrespective of sacrifices, Kashmiris are engaged in getting benefits secretly and all this is being said so that Kashmiris suspect one another,” he added.

“Actually, Delhi through these so-called disclosures wants to demean the real leadership of Kashmiris among masses and create divide and rule on every front and thus escape from the resolution of actual dispute of Kashmir, “ he said.

Engineer Rasheed advised India to shun dirty tactics and initiate meaningful talks for the just resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
