Three soldiers injured in grenade attack on army bunker in Kupwara
Militants hurled grenades at an army bunker in Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, injuring at least three soldiers.
Several vehicles were also damaged in the grenade attack, news agency ANI reported.
The agency reported that the police and the army have cordoned off the area around the bunker that came under attack. The attackers are still absconding and a search has been launched.
The incident comes after a series of attacks on the army and the Jammu and Kashmir police in the recent days.
Four army jawans were killed in an encounter in Handwara last week, while a sub-inspector was gunned down in Bandipora.
