IIT, IIM for Jammu; Land for AIIMS being identified in Sgr, Jmu: Govt
The state government Friday clarified that it is setting IIT and IIM in Jammu while land is being identified, measuring 200 acres, each in Jammu and Srinagar for setting up of AIIMS.
In a written reply to legislator Er Rashid representing Langate in North Kashmir, the government said, “GoI has advised state government to identify pieces of land each in Jammu and Srinagar and two teams have been constituted by GoI for visiting and finalizing the sites for establishment of AIIMS.”
