‘Police acting like private army of Sangh Parivar’
Awami Itihad Party (AIP) Chief and MLA Langate Er Rashid on Friday alleged that administration has given a free hand to goons in Jammu province for harassing Muslims.
While condemning the Kalakot incident in which two Kashmir based vehicles were torched and damaged, Er Rashid alleged that there seems to be Jungle Raaj in Jammu province and police are acting like private Army of Sang Parivar.
In a statement he said, “The Chief Minister seems to have given control of Jammu in the hands of these goons, as a part of his agenda for alliance. It is irony that how does life of bovine animals become more precious than that of humans. Even if the allegation that the accused persons were carrying bovine animals in their vehicles were true, who authorises the goons to burn their vehicles and attempt to kill them?” he asked.
