Top RSS leader (Dattatreya Hosabale) to be in Jammu for 3 days
RSS general secretary (‘sarkaryavah’) Dattatreya Hosabale, considered close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is scheduled to visit Jammu on March 15.
Dattatreya is the second in command in the RSS hierachy after ‘sarsanghchalak’ Mohan Bhagwat. Dattatreya is likely to stay in Jammu for three days.
He is scheduled to preside over RSS meetings and deliberate over government formation in Jammu and Kashmir. He will hold parleys with various RSS and civil society organisations to get political feedback.
RSS general secretary Krishna Gopal may accompany Dattatreya. Krishna Gopal holds a significance post of liaison man between the RSS and BJP. His visit is yet to be confirmed.
“Dattatreya will stay in Jammu till March 17. He will address a joint congregation of all RSS units on the last day before leaving for New Delhi. The venue of his final address is yet to be decided,” a source said.
