Vikar Rasool demands his assembly segment be attached with Kashmir province

Lashing out at PDP BJP government to maintain the secular identity of state and fail to provide equitable development of all three regions of the state.
Congress legislator from Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani rocks the assembly with the charges that Muslim majority areas of Jammu province are facing inequality and injustice with regards to the development. He added that PDP has sold the expectations of Jammu Muslims for power share in the state.Vikar openly advocate attachment of his constituency with Kashmir province.

Vikar Rasool Wani the second time congress MLA from Banihal assembly segment of Jammu province was speaking on the grants of home, planning and other departments pertaining to chief minister here today.
Vikar Rasool said that the development of his area is adversely affected since the coming of new government and both to give practical shape to the dreams shown by both the parties before and after elections to the people. He further added that present government has a directionless approach to carry the development pace in J&K in general and backward areas in particular.
Vikar said that government has shown new trend of Capex budget in which 116 crores for 2015-16 was approved for Ramban district but the net availability was only Rs 55 crores including central share i, e 31 crore and capital component remained only 24cr as instead of 48cr .which results in the fifty percent reduction of funds under district sector.

Vikar further alleged that 80 thousands crores prime ministers package was political eye wash and the figures shown in package was merely for capital cities of Jammu and Srinagar.
Whereas the major block of the population of state living in far-flung and backward areas are completely ignored out of which 33, 0000 crores was included from minister surface road transport for construction of NHW Government of India and can’t be considered as special assistance to the state.
Vikar urged upon the government to meet out the expectations of public representatives and the issues highlighted by them should be given equal space in the development of the state.
Vikar demand fire and emergency services for Khari and Ukarhall area of his constituency besides funds for construction of transformer repairing workshop in Banihal.
Vikar Rasool said that congress strives for maintaining secular identity of the state so that people of all walks and religions breathe in open air and his party will not tolerate the step motherly treatment on the bases of party politics and religion. (KNS)
