Kashmir was neither, nor will be part of India: Farooq Abdullah
Pro-India National Conference (NC) Patron, Dr Farooq Abdullah has said that Kashmir was neither, nor it will be an integral part of India.
Dr Farooq Abdullah addressing party workers, said, “Our young generations know what India did in Kashmir which is why the youth are today on roads for freedom.” He said both India and Pakistan must hold talks on Kashmir dispute which is the only solution to the long-pending dispute.
He also slammed Indian Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar, saying if he thought demonetization and the board exams in Kashmir would end uprising, it was a misconception. “Today’s children want complete independence and Modi has to answer these children,” he added.
Asking New Delhi and the local administration to put an end to the continued arrest spree and human rights violations in Kashmir, he said, “How many will you put in jails? How many will you blind? How many houses will you destroy?” He said even if India sends its entire army to bring Kashmiris into submission, they would not be able to suppress their sentiments.
