Massive protests in south Kashmir after 42 Hour Arwani gunfight ends, Phone & Internet Services Suspended
Massive protests erupted in parts of south Kashmir on Friday after 42-hour-long gunfight ended in Hassanpora village of Arwani in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.
Reports and witnesses said that protests erupted in Arwani, Bijbehara, Qaimoh and Khudwani areas after the gunfight ended.
Phone and Internet services, which were suspended by the authorities in view of the gunfight, continue to remain disrupted in the area.
A civilian was killed dozens other injured in the forces’ action on protesters yesterday.
