Kashmir open badminton championship concludes
The 27th Kashmir Open badminton championship concluded at Sheri-Kashmir Indoor Stadium here on Friday.
In the event organized by J&K Badminton Association around 320 boys and girls hailing from different parts of Valley participated in various categories from Under-10 age group to above 45 years.
CTO Jio Digital Anis Ahmad Bhat was the chief guest on the occasion Rajinder Bumla, Bilqueis Mir, Nuzhat Ara were among other guests present.
In senior men singles final Farhaan beat Amir while as in women’s single final, Hadiya beat Dua Abid. In senior men doubles team of Fazil and Owais beat Farhan and Owais Shah in final while as womens doubles team of Aasiya and Bisma beat Hadiya and Dua Abid in final.
In mixed double final team of Nisar Amin and Sadiya beat Sanjeev and Asiya. In boy’s single U-17 final, Suhaib Manzoor defeated Muneeb while as in girl’s Under-17 final, Navreen beat Fizra.
