Dukhtaran-e-Millat hoisted Pak flags in Valley
Activists of the hardline all-women organisation Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) today hoisted Pakistani flags at several places in Srinagar to mark ‘Pakistan Day’.
Two bike-borne, veiled DeM activists this morning appeared in city centre Lal Chowk and waved Pakistani flags. Reports said Pakistani flags were hoisted at several places in old Srinagar city and on the Airport road.
The flags hoisted surreptitiously were later removed by the police.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police had registered a case against DeM chief Asiya Andrabi for hoisting Pakistani flags in Kashmir on August 17 last year.
