Protests erupted in the Pattan, 04 Persons sustain pellet injuries; Jawahar Nagar residents offer Zuhr prayers on road
Strict curfew has been imposed in Pattan area after protests erupted in the town on Saturday, reports said. Police fired pellets on protesters in which four persons including a girl sustained injuries, local sources said. They said protests were also held at Yadipora Pattan.
Residents of Jawahar Nagar on Saturday offered Zuhr prayers on a road outside Abu Bakr Masjid to protest the Kashmir killings.
“We offered prayers here as a mark of protest against the civilian killings and ruthless use of force that has injured thousands over the past one month,” said a resident.
