Kidnap policeman’s brother returns home safely
The brother of policeman who was abducted on Wednesday evening by unidentified gunmen in Ajas area of Bandipora has returned home safely.
Mudasir Ahmed Khan brother of constable Farooq Ahmad Khan was abducted by unidentified gunmen in Chravan, Ajas.
On his return, Mudasir told reporters that militants picked him from home, inquired about his brother and at midnight asked him to return back.
“Two militants picked me outside our house. They questioned me about my brother. I was taken to forest and released there at mid night,” he said.
One of the family members told Kashmir Post that Mudasir is in good health and has reached home safely.
Earlier, army and police had launched overnight operation in the area following the abduction of Mudasir.
