Flash flood washes away young man in Poonch
An official said that Javed Iqbal (29), son of Abdul Salaam, resident of Passain, Loran, was washed away by strong currents while he was crossing a flooded nallah at Dobawash.
A young man was washed away after heavy rains triggered flash floods in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, police said.
An official said that Javed Iqbal (29), son of Abdul Salaam, resident of Passain, Loran, was washed away by strong currents while he was crossing a flooded nallah at Dobawash.
He said the body of the deceased was recovered from Gorian area.
“The body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs after medico-legal formalities,” said the official.
