Tragic Landslide in Kishtwar Claims Two Lives
Two labourers died in a tragic incident after a landslide hit Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the incident took place in the Sumbal area under the jurisdiction of Chatroo Police Station in the district.
The incident occurred after an L&T excavator machine came under a landslide during excavation work on the road in the area.
The deceased have been identified as Aabid Hussain and Musharaf. The authorities reached the spot after getting the information and started a rescue operation.
According to reports, Hussain died on the spot, while Musharaf was pulled out of the debris. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment in the hospital.
