J&K vigilance files chargesheet against 14 in Rs 22 cr fraud
State Vigilance Organisation on Monday filed a supplementary chargesheet against 14 bank employees for their alleged role in embezzlement of over Rs 22 crores from funds meant to compensate people whose lands were acquired in Pulwama.
“The supplementary challan (final report) under section 173 of the CrPC was produced before the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Pulwama presided by Haq Nawaz Zargar today against the 14 employees of Jammu and Kashmir Bank,” a spokesman of the SVO said here.
With this, all the persons allegedly involved in embezzlement of the funds have been chargesheeted.
On April 28 this year, the SVO filed chargesheet against 60 people, including government officials, for their alleged role in embezzlement of over Rs 22 crores.
