Omar asks: Why PDP talking Governor rule when NC offer stands?

Asserting that BJP may go slow on government formation in Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of Assembly elections in New Delhi, the National Conference working president Omar Abdullah Wednesday criticized the Peoples Democratic Party for talking about imposition of Governor’s rule when his party (NC) is ready to support them.
Omar, who arrived in New Delhi Wednesday after his stay in London for more than a week, took to twitter to make his point that BJP may go slow on J&K government formation following the fact that Delhi was bracing up for polls. “Interesting @htTweets: Eye on #Delhi elections, #BJP may go slow on J&K govt…. @shammybaweja http://read.ht/moi,” he tweeted.
The outgoing Chief Minister pasted the link of a related news report in a New Delhi-based newspaper. “The BJP could go slow on its negotiations with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on government formation in Jammu and Kashmir because it is worried about the impact this tie-up would have on its electoral fortunes in Delhi,” the news report read.
“The BJP has indicated it was willing to put Article 370 on the backburner, but it is now wary of giving the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) a handle to beat it with at the prestigious Delhi election,” the report quoted a senior PDP leader as saying, underscoring the party’s fear that a compromise formula would give its rivals the leeway at next month’s assembly poll in Delhi.
In another tweet, Omar termed the offer of NC support for formation Government credible. “I don’t envy the @jkpdp having to explain the imminent imposition of central rule when they’ve had a credible offer of support from @JKNC_,” he tweeted.
Apparently referring to the statements of PDP chief spokesperson Naeem Akhter in which he criticized Omar’s tenure as Chief Minister, the NC working president said: “The poor spokesperson of the @jkpdp, his frustration knows no bounds :-).”
Akhter Tuesday lashed out at Omar and alleged that he is trying to subvert the efforts of PDP in carrying forward the ‘peace and reconciliation’ initiatives that were started in 2003.
