PDP spreading canards: NC

‘We stand by our commitment of outside support for govt formation’

Stating that National Conference (NC) had offered outside support to PDP for government formation in the larger interest of JK, party general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar Thursday alleged that PDP is resorting to invalid excuses and lies “as they are up for forming the government with their masters.”

Sagar while addressing NC working committee meetings of Srinagar, Budgam, Anantnag and Kulgam at Nawai Subah complex here said; “PDP stands exposed as they have geared up for tying up with their masters who founded and funded the party.”
“We had offered unconditional support to Mufti Muhammad Sayeed’s party without seeking to be a part of the government to protect the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, but PDP has made up its mind to go with their handlers,” Sagar told the members of district working committees.
“The lies and invalid excuses to which the PDP has resorted hold no ground in real sense as NC had made it clear that it never wanted to be part of the government with PDP,” he said.
“PDP’s efforts to spread canards among people against NC can’t overrule the reality,” he said and added; “We stand by our commitment for complete autonomy for Jammu and Kashmir, revoking the black laws like AFSPA, and resolving the long pending political issue of Kashmir through negotiations.”
“Since last 83 years NC has worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people of state and guided the masses on the right path and we will stick to this principle come what may in the future as well,” he said and added; “We have faced turbulent times in the past and have emerged victorious every time. Our party is a strong cadre based and our vision towards the interests of the state was never been power-centric.”
