Kashmiris are not safe in any part of India: JKSM
The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), a constituent of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, has expressed deep shock over the mysterious murder of a Kashmiri scholar, Tariq-ul-Islam, in the Indian city of Hyderabad.
The JKSM spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that such incidents proved that the Kashmiris were not safe in any part of India.
He paid rich tributes to Tariq-ul-Islam and demanded independent probe into his killing. “Indians should change their colonial mindset. They should acknowledge and realize the historical fact that Kashmir is a dispute and India has been illegally occupying Jammu and Kashmir,” he stated.
The spokesman said that the Kashmiri students were targeted in different Indian states in the past also. “Kashmiris are targeted only because they demand their internationally accepted political rights,” he added.
