Unity best solution to face calamity: Amir JeI

Amir Jamat-e-Islami Muhammad Abdullah Wani Friday appealed to Muslims of Kashmir to show a united face to deal with the situation that has arisen due to the inclement weather all across the State.

Addressing Friday congregation at Batamaloo Srinagar, Wani alleged that administration is poking fun at flood victims in the name of relief and rehabilitation. He said that corruption has reached to its acme and all the relief meant for the flood victims goes to the kitty of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.

Amir Jamat-e-Islami according to CNS said that Islam has taught us everything but the question is to practice the tenants of Islam in letter and spirit. “Islam has taught us how we can help poor and needy by establishing our own Bait-ul-Mals. Unfortunately, Caliphate doesn’t exist now and movements have been organized to restore the Islamic Caliphate in the Muslim world,” he said.

Muhammad Abdullah Wani said that 2014 floods in Valley made it clear how government failed to provide succor to the people and it were only religious organizations that came forward and extended helping hand to needy and flood victims. (CNS)
