Another former militant shot dead in Kashmir’s Sopore

Unidentified gunmen on Monday shot at and killed a former militant at Sopore town in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Sources told Kashmir Dispatch that Aijaz Ahmad Reshi was shot dead in Mandji area of the town at around 8:30 am.

This is the second killing in two consecutive days and overall fifth killing in the area in past two weeks.

No militant group has owned responsibility for these three killings.

Geelani has blamed “Indian agents” for these murders.
