Muslims in Kashmir, Palestine, Burma face worst kind of oppression: JKSM

Stressing upon the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) chairman Zaffer Akber Bhat today said, Muslim across globe particularly in Kashmir, Palestine and Burma are facing worst kind of oppression.

Muslims in Kashmir, Palestine, Burma face worst kind of oppression - JKSMA JKSM statement said, while addressing a public gathering here in Sumbal Sonawari, Zaffer Akbar Bhat accused international community of maintaining double standards when it comes to Muslim issues.
“At a time when Muslims are being killed in Kashmir, Palestine and Burma, international community continues to maintain criminal silence over the bloodshed,” JKSM statement quoting Zaffer said.
Statement said Zaffer urged United Nation and Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) to take a strong note of the bloodshed of Muslims particularly in Burma and Palestine where “Jews and monks” are murdering Muslims irrespective of age and even children are not being spared.
Statement added, Zaffer expressed sympathy with Muslims of Palestine and Burma.
Statement quoting Zaffer said, “Forces in Kashmir are under the same strategy butchering Muslims to muzzle the ongoing  struggle and for changing the demography of the region.”
As per the statement he urged people to hold special prayers for the Muslims of Palestine and Burma.

Demanding a peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions and aspirations of Kashmiris, statement quoting Zaffer added, peace and stability in South Asia can’t be guaranteed till Kashmir’s final resolutions.
Statement said Zaffer  also welcomed the recent statement of Pakistan Army Chief Rahil Sharief where-in “General being the head of Pakistan military advocated resolution of Kashmir through a meaningful political process.”
