‘UJC probing Sopore killings’
The militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Tuesday said United Jehad Council (UJC) is probing the Sopore killings.
In a statement to a local news gathering agency CNS, Hizb spokesperson Syed Sadaqat Hussain said, “Police have no credentials to investigate the recent killings in Sopore. Police neither has any credibility nor can it be trusted”.
He said UJC has itself been investigating these killings.
“There are dependable proofs that the successors of Kuka Parrey are still linked with police and Territorial Army,” Hussain said.
He said UJC wants to make it clear that whosoever is involved in these killings irrespective of his affiliation with any organization or not, he will be treated as “Indian agent” and “anti-freedom movement element” and will be put to death.
